The FCAD Forum for Cultural Strategies aims to become the foremost hub for designing and sharing actionable strategies to support the cultural sector in Canada. The goal of the FCAD forum is to inform and improve decision-making at all levels in the cultural industries through dialogue, research and dissemination.

Our Research

At the FCAD Forum, we are addressing important questions of cultural policy and cultural strategy through a combination of activities: facilitating dialogue among diverse parties on the one hand, and commissioning and undertaking original research on the other. We provide trustworthy information, actionable strategies and balanced answers to important questions facing the cultural sector.

    Mark is adjunct professor at the RTA School of Media and Director at the FCAD Forum for Cultural Strategies.
  • Miranda Campbell

    Member
    Dr. Miranda Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the School of Creative Industries. Her research interests include youth culture, creative labour, and policy development.
  • Jeremy Shtern

    Member
    Dr. Shtern’s research and teaching focuses on transformations in the structure and governance of communication industries and creative work as they reorganize around globalization and digital technologies.
